Sikkim is such a beauty that will take you away from all the hustle of your city life. It will refresh you with the  peace it beholds and make you fall in love with the  mountains,  flowers  and those little streams that makes you realise how fortunate you are to enjoy these incredible beauty the nature has to offer.  

   Here are some of the few things I would recommend you guys to try on your next visit to Sikkim.

  1. YUMTHANG: the valley of flowers 

      This mountain is called the valley of flowers for a reason. Visit this place any season  and you will always find it covered in different vibrant coloured flowers except for winter as it will be all covered in snow. 

2. RAFTING: in teesta river 

   Well if you are an adventure person then this is exactly for you my buddy! Teesta is known for its river rafting. You are gonna be surrounded with green trees and paddy fields as you pass by so yes this is something u won't regret.

3. CHARDHAM: Namchi 

  Chardham is located in Namchi. This place gives you a whole spiritual vibe and it's serenity will hug you like never before.

4.  Khichipudi lake

    Also known as the wishing lake this lake is one of the most holy places of Sikkim. This place is just the perfect place for your rest day where you can just chill with the perfect scenario of a lake right in front of your eyes.

5. BUNGEE JUMPING: Singshore Bridge

     Singshore bridge is the highest bridge in Sikkim and also a very popular tourist spot. Jumping from about 200m high bridge with the wind against your face, nothing can be more thrilling than that.

 

6. YAK SAFARI: Tsomgo lake 

      Tsomgo lake itself being a beautiful tourist destination offers you a chance to ride a Yak. These are really quiet animals so you can groove along with them for a while and fall in love with them at the end of the day. 

7. HELICOPTER RIDE 

    A very popular and amazing activity to do while in Sikkim is to get a Helicopter ride. What can be more amazing than seeing the beauty of the State from the above. 

8. KHANGCHENDZONGA NATIONAL PARK

      This is a must see place in Sikkim. This place has become really popular after UNESCO declared it as one their heritage sites in 2016. 

     You are gonna learn about different flora and fauna from your guide and be mesmerized by its collection of wildlife and plants.

9. GOECHA LA TREK

   Sikkim has a lot of treks and hikes within but Goecha la trek is gonna remain in your heart forever.  If you are someone who loves trekking then my friend, you are in for a treat. This trek is about 10 days long and only moderately challenging. 

10. PARAGLIDING IN GANGTOK

    Due to its high altitude and a lot of valleys it is one of th e best spots for PARAGLIDING. Being the hub for adventure sports, Sikkim can reward you with a lot of thrills and peace at the same time.
